We normally imagine that free is cheap, you pay what you get, right?<><> Wrong! at least with our experience at the Wednesday's free concert at the Richard Bradshaw Amphitheatre of the Four Seasons. The brilliant performance by Serger Saratovsky of Estampes by Claude Debussy and Carnaval, Op. 9 by Robert Schemann has dazzled all the audience. <><> The whole theatre was packed with people, and we couldn't get any front row seats even we showed up well ahead of time. The 28 year old champion of the Montreal National Youth Piano Competition talked a bit about both composers and their works before he started playing. In the 50 minutes time, everone was intoxicated in the beautiful notes. Bravo Sergei. <><>
