A Solid group of hikers took to the trail on sunday morning (the best day among a week or so of bad weather). We blitzed the pace on our first big hike of the year and ended up settling on a (still very fast) 5.6km/hr average not including lunch break.
The conditions were good and despite the fact that we (I) missed the trail going southeast to Glen Haffy and thus turned this into a south hockley valley hike, we all had a good time and got some much needed fesh air and exercise on a very local bruce trail segment.
As long as we go fast we don't even care if we go the wrong way
