It was a hoot watching the Oscars on a big screen surrounded by TOCers and some major movie buffs. To keep things rolling they had a projected 'text' wall next to the screen where you could post messages directly from your cellphone. Personal favourite was the 'linebacker thighs' message as soon as Beyonce hit the stage for the big musical number.
At around 4 hours long you'd think it would be tiring but the evening was a blast.
Many prizes were available to be won and Victor scored a really nice Godfather prize in a trivia contest. Some dude came dressed as the Joker too.
Can't wait to do it all again next year.
