We couldn't have had a more beautiful day to be skating down by Harbourfront! The sun was shining, the music was pumping and people were spinning 'round & 'round on the rink. Sarah showed off her power stop. Pawel showed how he could skate on one foot. Laura and Lisa concentrated on not falling down!
After about 1 1/2 hours of skating we left to get coffee to go from the Second Cup. As we made our way to sit outside on the pier, we stopped & watched the swans and ducks swimming in a small unfrozen section of the lake. The gals thought that they were really cute! For Pawel, they looked like a tasty meal! They reminded him of the great duck dinner he had recently at a french restaurant in Kensington. We all parted ways, glad that we had gotten the chance to get to know one another & happy to have spent some time out in the fresh air & sunshine.
