Cold weather greeted us as we gathered outside the fire hall. I had on my cowboy outfit complete with horse while Woody wore here Dogasaurus Rex costume.

Seasoned parade veteran Fiona had a noisemaker while first-timers Ken and Virna both had flashlights. We walked down to the start point together and found that a brass band was kicking off the festivities. After some music an announcement was made, horrors, due to windy conditions the parade was postponed until March. Some fire handlers still came out to do tricks so that was neat.

By now the lack of walking was making Woody, and me, pretty chilly so we said our goodbyes and headed home. We both kept our costumes on all during the ride home. That certainly put many smiles on stranger's faces.
