Great guides, great people & beautiful weather made for a fabulous evening of paddling. Lots of kayaks, ducks and geese were on the water. Officially our outing consisted of 4 TOC members - myself, Anika, Matthew and Pete. Unofficially, we were joined by 5 others - Bernadette, Sue & her ESL student Nina, Katherine and Martin. All of us enjoyed the paddle in & around the Islands. Some of us took photos or just took advantage of the many rest stops. Matthew nearly kayaked over a duck! Katherine and Martin and successfully manoevered their tandem kayak through a labyrinth of trees. We returned hungry & were eager to eat the burgers & cheesies provided (by donation) by the Harbourfront Canoe & Kayak Centre. The next Harbourfront kayaking event is posted for Thursday, August 14th at 5:50 pm.
