April showers, bring May flowers and June 2nd rain drizzle? Even with the rain, I thought that it was a fun route!! Also thankful, the rain did not dampen the spirits of all who were in attendance. A couple of us did go for the gusto, despite be a little soggy behind the ears and get some Dole Whip at our alternative ice cream stop…. (It was a fantastic creamy pineapple sorbet). This will definitely be a repeatable event. I will repost a similar event that starts a bit later in the day so we can have a stop for sure at La Diperie. I loaded a few pictures onto the Toronto Outdoor Club Facebook page for posterity. Donations: all attendees polled had 2024 badges
