Sat, May 31 2008 - Indoor Rock Climbing (View Original Event Details)

This event was actually made up of two groups: The TOC climbers and four friends that had asked me to book a lesson for them, so I put them in on the same day as the TOC group. Unfortunately we had quite a few no shows, but the upside of that is that the lesson was small and quick.
Igor & Robert partnered up together. It was pretty evident that they were getting everything very well. They even ventured into the regular climbs very quickly. They were wondering why some climbs were so easy, so I explained that they weren’t supposed to be using the blocks that were installed for the kids’ climbs. I partnered up with Melissa, she did quite well too. What I find hard to believe is that after climbing she headed off to the gym.
From the regulars, Pierre was not there because he was sick. Rafal came and went really early because he had yet another date. Man, that guy’s gotta give me some tips. I was happy to see that Sharon is well on her way to taking over the dictator role that I was originally accused of having. If you don’t believe me, just ask Lisa or Pia. Lisa was heart broken that her 5.10 was gone. Don’t worry Lisa, they’ll be others.
Big apologies to Rob & Igor for the confusion about the pub, but I do hope you had a good time anyways.
