Sat, May 12 2012 - Morning City Bike Ride to Leslie St. Spit (View Original Event Details)

The was the B&B ride - Birds and Brakes. It was a lovely day for a cycle. When we arrived at the spit, there were a number of events centred around birding, including bird friendly coffee. We spent part of our time wth the Bike Hike birders. We learned a quite a few interesting things. Because of the numerous stops, Lisa was able to last much longer than she had predicted - though I'm sure she would have lasted that long even if we weren't stopping. John was a big help in doing brake adjustments as we went along. I was delighted with the warm weather and the company. We parted ways just before 1:00, each of us off to start our vaious errands.
