Itinerary:
My goal is to get 2 or more hours of cycling in, see a bit of city nature, and be home by 1:00 to garden.

I will be leaving from St. Clair and Christie at 8:30 and am willing to meet people en route. (e.g. St. George station) The official meeting place will be at the bottom of Simcoe Street on the north west corner. Part of the cycling will be on the street and then we will follow the trail along the waterfront to the spit.

I am hoping there will be wild flowers and birds to admire along the way. If I remember, I'll check to see if the bird tagging station is open to visitors.
Depending upon the energy of the group, we can head futher east, go back and head up the Don Valley trail or just return to our starting point. The great thing about cycling in the city is that you can drop out where you like, if your time is more limited.

This ride is suitable for beginners as it will not be very long and it does not involve a substantial amount of road travel but you should still be comfortable, and safe riding in traffic.

Please bring your snacks and liquids with you.

You must wear a helmet for this trip. Please bring a spare tube and tools to change a flat.
