Write Up:

Our trip from Burlington GO station to Hamilton started on a very sunny morning. We followed bike lanes down to Lake Ontario where we entered the Burlington-Hamilton Waterfront Trail. With about 5k ridden, we stopped due to The Burlington Bay Skyway Bridge being up to let a huge boat to pass; it was pretty neat to see how the lift bridge works. We rode all the way to Stoney Creek passing by Hamilton Beach along other scenic areas. On the way back, we stopped at “Baragans on the Beach” restaurant for lunch. Then, we made our way back to Burlington GO station to catch the 3:10 pm train. It was a great ride.

Thanks to everyone who came to enjoy such a beautiful day and a special thanks to David who co-coordinated with Vicky to make sure Vicky’s first TOC event went off well.
