I asked the trip participants to send me their highlights of the trip. Here they are: Alison M Seeing a woodpecker very close to the trail on Heron. Skiing Bear 1, 2 and 6 without falling - next year I'll do the whole trail in one shot. Ken's impromptu concert on Saturday night Agra I'm still readjusting to the heat of the town after freezing my a$$ in the forest in - 35C. The highlight of the trip for me was meeting the chickadees in front of our hosts' house, in the sun, and getting them to sit on my head for a photo shoot - the result of which you will see shortly. I also enjoyed a lot the company - a particularly sweet group of TOC members. Thank you for organizing the charming trip and taking me on it! Pia It was a lot of fun - thanks for organizing it all David. The highlights of the trip was the beautiful cross country ski trails and the delicious homemade organic meals we ate. Tamara I'd say one of the highlights was our night ski on the lake - looking at the many stars, hearing a wolf howling, and then finding its paw prints in the middle of the track when I skied the lake early the next morning! Feeding nuthatches out of my hand was also very cool. But the best part was just the great ski conditions (despite the cold!) and the fact that we had all those many kilometres of track completely to ourselves. It's a very special place and I hope to make it back there sometime. Jim Other than witnessing the glistening beauty of the snowy trails, I would say that my highlight was skiing 24 km in one day. David I really enjoyed Viki’s great cooking, and Al’s beautiful trails. Although it was cool weather (about -25 c), it was gloriously sunny. One special highlight was hearing a wolf howl during a 9 pm starlight ski on the lake with Tamara.
