Itinerary:

NOTE THAT, IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS EVENT, YOU MUST TAKE FRIDAY OFF FROM WORK AND LEAVE EARLY IN THE MORNING--7:45 A.M.--FROM DOWNSVIEW SUBWAY STATION. THEREFORE, DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU CAN SATISFY THIS REQUIREMENT.

A repeat of 2008's fantastic trip!!! We will be heading to Kukagami Lodge, a beautiful lodge on the lakeshore!

We have rented the three cabins available at the lodge for the weekend. There is no electricity; the cabins are heated by woodstove and lighted by lamps; there is an outhouse (it's a NICE one!!) as well.

We'll be snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. In fact, we'll have to ski 7k from the parking lot (it's an easy trail for those of us who aren't expert skiers) to the lodge; our bags will be brought in by snowmobile.

The weekend also includes Viki's fantastic home cooking, three meals a day (we'll get there for dinner on Friday and leave after lunch on Sunday). The lodge also has a sauna we can enjoy! It's truly a welcoming place in a wonderful setting!

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $206.40 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Sunday, May 5, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:

- Registration is NOT COMPLETE until you've signed up and paid by the registration cut off date. The money must be in the TOC's possession by that date. No exceptions.
- When a minimum group size appears, this is to let you know that the event will be cancelled with full refunds to those who have already paid, if the minimum number of registered participants is not met. For any events where TOC needs a minimum number of participants, there will be absolutely no refund of money if you cancel.
- We encourage all members to follow our Etiquette Guidelines at all times while participating in TOC events.
