Unfortunately, due to the (accurate) prediction of thunder showers on Saturday, only five of us turned up at Union Station. However, I am pleased to say that the ride itself was enjoyed by all, barring the weather. We were fortuate to arrive in Port Credit for lunch, just when the heavy rain arrived, where we nestled in our bar by the marina. And, as we finshed our lunch, the rain suddenly abated. There was a short shower as we rode through the area of Exhibition, but apart from that, it was warm humid weather. I am grateful for the way the other members took the negotiation of the rather large puddles in their stride. I think that they must have sometimes felt they were cycling through Lake Ontario, rather than beside it! I was pleased to introduce this ride to other members of the TOC as it is quite scenic and peaceful and I recommend it to other members to try. Bazza - 27th July, 2008
