EVENT DETAILS

So, I've randomly selected a hike out of my personal urban hiking database for today's hike.

This 11.5 KM hike will travel between Warden Station to Chester Station.
There is the option of dropping off at Victoria Park Station, which is located 2.5 km from the start point.

Interesting spots include

  1. 'Warden Woods'
  2. 'The neighbourhood of Crescent Town'.
  3. 'The Elevated Wetlands'
  4. 'The neighbourhood of Playter Estates'

PACE: We'll aim for a pace of 4.5-5.5 km/h

The hike will be on a combination of paved park paths, neighborhood sidewalks, single track dirt trails and gravel paths.

In terms of hills, well we're traveling downhill the majority of the time.
Until we get to the end, where there's a large climb out of the valley.

Unfortunately, this particular route doesn't have any washroom stops. However, there is one located in Warden Station at the beginning of the hike.

However, if it is cold or wet, I'll just be located inside the station and just up the stairs.

Warden Station is located on line 2 (Bloor- Danforth), one station west of Kennedy & 12 stations east of Yonge.

For those of you driving, Warden Station has a parking lot on the North-East & South-East corner of St. Clair & Warden and can be accessed off Warden Ave.
