EVENT DETAILS

So, the random hike picker has suggested this hike for today.

This 13 KM hike will start at Greenwood Subway Station and go down to Queens Quay Streetcar Station.
Interesting spots include:

  • 'Monarch Park'.
  • 'Woodine Park'.
  • 'Cherry Beach'.
  • 'Queens Quay'.
  • This hike will be primarily be on wide paved trails or through neighborhoods.
However, there will be one single track ravine section that might be tad wet and muddy.

In terms of hills, the majority of this hike is either flat or downhill, so easy peesy, lemon squeezy.

We'll do a washroom stop at about an hour into the hike in Woodbine Park.

    We'll aim for a pace of 4-5 km/h.

PLEASE NOTE THAT LINE 1 IS CLOSED BETWEEN LAWRENCE & ST CLAIR THIS WEEKEND

Post hike, if anyone is interested I might head over to Amsterdam BrewHouse for a pint/lunch if anyone wants to join.
