Skiing/Snowboarding at Glen Eden (3/4/2006)

Itinerary:
We'll meet at the carpool or at Glen Eden(optional)! Close to Toronto and great for the beginning skier or snowboarder! Check out their web-site for more details and to find out which runs and lifts are open: Click Here You can rent equipment or bring your own. Lift tickets on-site are $32 (plus applicable taxes). Full day rentals (Full set-up for skiing or snowboarding) are $30. Prepayment to TOC is NOT required, however if you are one of the first 8 to pay Erik he can get you a lift ticket for $19 (including taxes - rentals not included). This is an awesome deal!

Required Items to Bring:
appropriate winter clothing (hat, gloves, windproof/waterproof jacket & pants - no jeans)
lunch, or $ for lunch (snack bar on premises)
Recommended Items to Bring:

Event Directions:-Take Hwy. 401 west to Hwy. 25 (Exit 320) north to No. 5 Sideroad. -West on to No. 5 Sideroad to Tremaine Rd. -South on Tremaine Rd. to Kelso Rd. -West on Kelso Rd. to Glen Eden.

Carpool Cost: Approximate vehicle expense for this event is $25.80 (calculated at total Km * $0.258, effective Monday, May 6, 2024). This is based on $0.08/Km for maintenance, plus current gas price divide by 9. Your event coordinator will confirm exactly how much money is required from each person.

Notes:
If you cannot make it to the carpool because of the TTC's hours, but want to attend the event, send Erik an Email and he might be able to arrange a pick-up from your choice of location.
