Directive From The TOC
Executive Interim COVID-19 Rules for
the Toronto Outdoor Club NOTES Thank you for your
understanding and your cooperation as we keep
each other safe during the pandemic. EVENT DETAILS PLEASE NOTE: If you receive an email that reads "MOVED TO THE WAIT LIST," or don't see you name on the wait list, its because you haven't agreed to the INTERIM TOC COVID-19 Rules. So, the random hike picker has gone with this one today, which is great, because we get to hike through my favorite park in the city, Crothers' Woods. Today's hike 9 KM hike will go from Chester to Castle Frank Subway Station. Terrain is a mix of single track dirt trails (which could be muddy/slippery) some paved city of Toronto paths, with a few neighborhoods and walking along a decommissioned railway track. There's a hill with a challenging flight of stairs on the route along with a 2nd hill up milkman's lane, so watch out for that. We'll do a washroom break about 1.5 hours into the hike at a Loblaws. For those of you looking for a good mask to wear while hiking, you can find the one I use, 'here from Amazon'. | |||||||

How to Get There: | |||||||
Event Directions: | Chester Subway Station is located on the Bloor/Danforth subway line. The Station is located 4 stops east of the Yonge line. We'll meet outside the west station entrance. The one with the collectors booth. (Look for me in the BLUE Toronto Outdoor Club shirt) Map
