Itinerary:
This hike is challenging, because of the elevation, but is the highest point of the Bruce Trail. The most difficult part occurs near the beginning of the hike where you must climb up a wall of granite boulders. You are rewarded with a lovely view of Nottawasaga Bay, and can even see the lighthouse on Christian Island on a clear day. The hike is mainly forested where at least 10 different varieties of mushrooms were spotted in the summer. There must be hundreds of apple trees, so it should make for a tasty fall hike. The views are spectacular. The extra driving time to get to this hike is worth it. After the hike, we will spend a few hours in the Scandinavian Baths and experience the full Finnish Sauna, Norwegian Steam Bath, Thermal & Nordic Waterfalls, Hot Baths, Cold Plunges, Solariums, Relaxation Areas and Outdoor Fireplace before heading back to Toronto.

For those of you interested in massages, you can book your massage via phone (877)988-8484 and press "1" or email them . Note: The entrance fee does not cover massage services however, the massage services fee includes complimentary access to the Baths.

The trailhead is very difficult to find so there will be no meeting at the event.

If you are booking a massage, please try to book at least 2 weeks in advanced as they book quickly on weekends. Please e-mail Min C ASAP if you have booked a massage. Because of the hike, it is recommended that you book your spot anytime after 3:30 PM. Please let them know that you are with the Toronto Outdoor Club.
