Itinerary:

Drivers needed - Drivers will be given preference on the waitlist. This event will be able to accommodate 12-ish participants if enough drivers sign up.

We will hike from Rattlesnake Point to Crawford Lake and back, doing a loop using the main Bruce Trail, as well as some side trails.
I hear this is a very scenic hike, involving canyons, lakes, caves, and good views.
There will be some elevation gain and loss, as we enter and exit the canyon.
We will maintain a brisk pace, but will make a few stops along the way to enjoy the views, and to look into a couple of the caves.
We will stop for a short lunch break at the Crawford Lake Visitors Centre. Please bring a lunch for yourself.

DISTANCE: Roughly 18 km.

PACE: about 4.5 km/h.

DIFFICULTY: D4 (because of the distance and terrain).

COST: $6.75 entry to the conservation area. Plus carpool costs.

There will be no opportunities to drop out during the hike.

Well behaved, well socialized dogs are welcome to come on the hike, but must be on a leash no longer than six feet at all times. Please pick up after your dog. Please indicate if you are bringing a dog when you sign up.

All participants must meet at Kipling. Meeting at the trailhead is not an option for this hike.
I have set the Maximum Group Size to 4 because I can take 3 passengers, but I am aiming to have about 12 people on the hike.
Passengers will be added as additional drivers become available.

Members on the waiting list who are willing to drive may be given priority if we need more drivers.

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER THE CARPOOL QUESTION REGARDING THE # OF PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR!!!
