Itinerary:

Just like the ROM, the AGO is currently undergoing a massive renovation project. There are many galleries and displays open during this time, but Wednesday nights have always been free. It is a great opportunity to get a taste of the AGO's treasures. From school days you probably remember the Group of Seven collection, but did you know that the AGO is the 10th largest art gallery in North America? Or that it includes work by Rodin, Monet, Degas, Cézanne, van Gogh,Picasso, and Warhol, as well as contemporary Canadian artists? Now that we are older and wiser, with more life experience and responsible for paying our own admission to places, I think we all have a greater appreciation for art and culture in our lives

Especially when it's free

After we finish consuming all of this art and culture, we'll head over to a local pub or coffee shop
