Itinerary:
The TOC and volunteering with the Credit Valley Conservation Authority go together like peas and carrots! (movie reference, anyone?)

Seriously, we’ve had two very successful events already this year with the CVCA/WeCARE at the Woolen Mills Conservation Area, and we’re going back for a third time. For this event, we will be working on trail maintenance (sorry folks, no chest waders this time!).

Seriously, it’s fun, it’s rewarding, it’s outside, you’re with friends – it’s the ultimate multitasking TOC event! And did I mention the old-fashioned bakery? (I promise I won’t buy the last apple fritter this time!)

When you sign up, please note on your registration whether you would like a vegetarian option for the complementary BBQ (lunch will be hamburgers and hot dogs, either meat-based or meat-free).

Work gloves and tools will be supplied. How cool is that??? :)

Two notes:

1. After the event, we'll also drive a short distance to check out the trees that the TOC planted with the CVCA and WeCARE a year ago.

2. While children of all ages are welcome to join in this event and see their parents working to make their corner of the world a better place, strict supervision is expected. Thanks!
