Itinerary:
I've discovered quite a few great trails during my first year in the city, so I decided to string a bunch of them together into a 20km hike. Yes, you read that right, 20km.

We will meet at Warden Subway Station and follow this route:
- South through Warden Woods
- West on the Taylor Creek Trail to Don Mills Rd
- West on the Lower Don Trail to Crothers Woods
- South through Crothers Woods to the Brickworks
- Take a 25-30 minute break for lunch
- North then west on the Beltline Trail to Eglinton West Subway Station
- Catch our breath and enjoy the rest of the weekend

Route Rundown:
Distance: Just under 20km
Pace: 5.0km/h (we will be maintaining this throughout)
Expected Time: 5 - 6 hours (including lunch break)
Trails: Mostly dirt/gravel trails with some paved sections
Terrain: Quite a few ups and downs and some significant hills

PLEASE READ:
This is a D4 hike because of the distance we will be covering and because we will be hiking constantly with very few, if any, stops other than the lunch break. If you are unable to hike a good moderate pace for the entire distance, please don't sign up for this hike. We will not be waiting for stragglers! You have been warned. Also, aside from the Brickworks, there are no washroom facilities along the trail, so be prepared for that.

Please plan to arrive before the posted start time, we will be leaving immediately at 9:30am. I will turn my phone to silent once we begin, so any calls or messages will likely not be returned until the end of the hike.

This hike will go forward rain or shine.

See map below for start/end points and the rough hiking route. Click the points on the map for transit information.
