Simcoe Day: 4 Points for a Pint "SOUTH Group" (9 KM) (8/3/2015)

Itinerary:

Civic holiday is a time for celebrating some sort of civic pride. I can't think of anything better than wandering through the parks of Toronto then grab a nice relaxing pint afterwards.

This is also social event. Anyone who signs up for this hike must be willing to come and socialize afterwards (drinking an actual pint is optional).

Route

  • South from Boardview through Riverdale Park East
  • Cross the DVP, head north along Lower Don River Trail
  • At Pottery Rd, continue north along Crothers Woods Trail
  • At Bayview, head east to Mud Creek
  • North into Mt Pleasant Cemetery, then east
  • Back down into a valley, up a set of stairs to Yonge.
  • End at the pub

This event is roughly 2 hours of walking and an hour or so at the pub.

    Broadview subway station is located on Line 2 east of the Bloor-Yonge subway station.

    Please arrive on time as we will be leaving within five (5) minutes of the start time. I will be silencing my phone once we begin
