Itinerary:

So, it's Victoria Day and there's nice I like better than a pint and maybe, just maybe a Kangaroo.

I really like this pub for both it's wide variation of beers as well as its choice of sausages. If you are a vegetarian, you will have options, but not many. Sorry...but at least the beers are good.

However, you've got to get there first.

This hike will be 11.5 KM long and we'll be walking as a group, aiming for a pace of 4.5-5.0 km/h.

The hike will start at Old Mill Station and will end at the pub, which is within walking distance of King Station, or you can hop on the Bathurst or King Streetcar.

In terms of terrain, most of the hike will be on flat cycling trails along Toronto's majestic waterfront, but I've also thrown in a single track trail beside a bog, just to make it interesting. I believe there are two hills, but don't quote me on that.

Anyone who signs up for this hike, must be willing to come and socialize at the pub primarily:

  • 1. Because, you could be taking a spot away from someone on the wait list who otherwise wanted to attend.
  • 2. Also because I have a reservation and they are expecting a certain amount of people.

Otherwise, I hope you come and have fun.
