Itinerary:

So, I have this list of 52 bars in the city I'd like to get to 2015. The place we're going is on this list, but its relatively hard to get to.

So, to make it interesting, we're gonna hike there. This urban hike starts at Kennedy Station and ends nears Lawrence & Don Mills. So, not anywhere close to a subway station, but there are several buses that either take you to Lawrence East SRT Station, Pape Station on the Bloor Line, Eglinton on the Yonge Line or Don Mills on the Sheppard Line.

The total distance of this hike will be about 10.5 km and we'll be hiking as a group and aiming for a pace of 4.5-5.0 km/h.

There will probably be a couple hills in this hike and the hike terrain will vary between obnoxiously flat biking trails, neighborhood streets as well as single-track trails in the valley. The coolest part of this urban hike in my opinion is that we go through the rainbow tunnel seen near the Don Valley Parkway.

Anyone who signs up for this hike, must be willing to come and socialize at the pub primarily:

  • 1. Because, you could be taking a spot away from someone on the wait list who otherwise wanted to attend.
  • 2. Also because I have a reservation and they are expecting a certain amount of people.

Otherwise, come out and have fun

  • Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear - hiking shoes or hiking boots highly recommended, we will be on some dirt trails
