Itinerary:

So, this hike is what I like to call a 'Fletcher Classic.' It's not that I'm being cocky or anything, I've just done it a lot, however, not since about February of 2014.

For this hike, we'll be starting at Runnymede Station, and ending at Jane Station.

Approx. distance is about 11.5 KM and we'll be walking at about 4.5-5.0 km/h.

I'm expecting most of the hike to be on snow, so hiking boots or hiking boots or winter boots are a good idea.

Following the hike, I'm gonna head over to a local watering hole for a pint. You're welcomed to come, but it's not mandatory.

Required Items to Bring:
  • Good footwear - Hiking boots or hiking shoes are recommended
  • Water and snacks
  • Flashlight or headlight
  • Weather appropriate clothing
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
  • A smile (even if it's frozen on from the cold)
  • Icers or traction devices.
  • Poles

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

Meet @ the Runnymede Road exit of the Runnymede Subway Station.

NOTE: Do not meet at the Kennedy Road exits or else you won't find me.

Runnymede Subway Station is located on the Bloor Subway line, 10 stations west of St. George and 5 stations east of Kipling.
