Hike Along the Waterfront (10 km) (1/13/2015)

Itinerary:

A nice evening hike along the waterfront. We'll be going at a 4.5 km pace.

Dress warmly! It can be very cold when wind blows off the lake. Also come prepared for an icy trail so come with traction devices (icers).

We will follow this route:

  1. South through High Park
  2. East along the waterfront trail
  3. Continue east through Exhibition Place
  4. Cross the Puente de Luz bridge
  5. Past the Rogers Centre, CN Tower
  6. End at Maple Leaf Square, near Union Station

Total Distance Covered 10.5 KM

    Runnymede subway station is located on Line 2 (Bloor-Danforth) in the west end of the city.

    Please arrive on time as we will within five minutes of the start time. I turn off my phone once we start.

    This event will go forward rain or shine, excluding thunderstorms or severe snowstorms.
