Lawrence to Loop Sunnybrook (12 km) (7/3/2014)

Itinerary:

This hike will be 12 km along a mix of pavement, gravel, woodchip and dirt paths, mostly through the trees, with a few small hills.

We'll start and end at Lawrence Subway Station, maintaining a moderate pace of 4.5 km

Please arrive on time, we will start promptly.

This is the route we will take.

  1. Start at Lawrence subway station
  2. (S.E. corner of Yonge St & Lawrence Ave)
  3. East through various parks to Sunnybrook Park
  4. Say hello to the horses and ponies
  5. Ascend to the upper playing field
  6. Loop through the forest of the upper p.f.
  7. Retrace our route west
  8. End at Lawrence subway station

How to Get There:
Event Directions:

We'll meet on the South-East corner of Yonge St and Lawrence Ave, near the 'Locke' branch of the Toronto Public Library across the street from the Lawrence Subway Station Entrance.

Lawrence Subway Station is located on the Yonge Subway Line, two stops south of Sheppard and 6 Stations north of Bloor.

Look for me with an ORANGE whistle on my backpack.
