As this event is taking place in a private residence, everyone will go directly to the waiting list and will be added by the Coordinator; the maximum number of attendees is 15 and is restricted to members who have attended more than 5 events. No dogs. No smoking allowed on the event. No event crashers.

This will be an afternoon event and will begin with cider tasting (alcoholic) and cheese pairings. A very special thanks goes to my fellow volunteer Caroline who will run this portion of the event - she recently became an official beer judge (congrats!) and is going to try her hand at ciders. The cider tasting will be followed by a BBQ lunch and swimming (if interested and weather permitting). Cider selections and food items will be purchased ahead of time (vegetarian options will be provided). The cost will be shared and will not exceed $13/person. Payment will be made at the event. Everyone is welcome to bring additional alcoholic beverages, but please ensure that public transportation is your mode of travel as drinking and driving is a serious offense and is strictly prohibited.

Hopefully the weather will cooperate, and we will have the event in the backyard by the pool. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the basement. Therefore, event goes rain or shine. But please be aware that 2 cats live on the premises; should it become necessary for the event to be moved inside, anyone with cat allergies should consider this; however, the cats spend a minimal amount of time in the basement.
