Itinerary:

NOTE: THE CARPOOL LEAVES DOWNSVIEW STATION @ 8:30 AM

Distance: 14 km
This is an intermidate hike with a very hilly with rolling sections terrain

Great views along the escarpment and a variety of terrain along the trails. The hike will be a mix of main Bruce trail and side trails, with lunch somewhere along the way.

Approx. distance is 14 KM

NOTE: There are no washroom facilities at this event

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER HOW MANY PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR? or else you may be moved to thew wait list until this is complete

If you cannot walk the entire distance, please do not sign up for this hike

How to Get There:

Event Directions: Leaving Downsview - take the Allen Road south to the 401.

-Travel west along the 401 to Highway 400 North in the direction of Barrie. Travel 35 km.

-Get off at Highway #9 and travel westbound for 37 km.

-Turn right @ 3RD Line and travel north for 6 KM (WARNING: There is no traffic light at 3RD Line and is approx 5 KM past Airport Road)

-Turn left onto Hockley Valley Road (Regional Road #7) and travel for about a km.

-Look for Hockley Valley entrance on the right!
