April showers means muddy trails. Why not start the season with dry toes on the back of a horse? Just an hour away from the city is the lovely Wildwood Manor Ranch, a fun trail riding and horse facility that caters to riders of all abilities. Even if you've never been on a horse before, they'll give you instructions and the perfect horse to make your ride fun and enjoyable.

For those of us with a little more experience, or a death wish, there will be two groups - a walking and a 'running' group. The walking group will stick to safe and easy. The running group will gallop across open fields and get to ride horses with attitude. When you sign up, please let the coordinator know what kind of trail ride you'd like to have, and what experience you have.

The Ranch does allow riders to waive their right to wear a helmet, However (in my opinion) only stupid people would do this. The TOC president will be wearing a helmet and she has 25 yrs of riding experience. I'd like to make helmet wearing mandatory, but there are no laws to stop you from being stupid.

We must book a few weeks in advance so you must send your deposit to the treasurer by the payment cut off date.
