EVENiNG PHOTO HIKE - HUMBER

We've gone by Humber Bay Park and Humber Bridge many times on urban hikes and I always want to dawdle behind to explore with my camera...

This is a PHOTO WALK so we will be extremely slow with LOTS OF STOPS - you must have a camera to participate, and do not sign up if you are expecting any kind of a workout! Priority will go to newer members, especially those with a proper camera, either point + shoot or DSLR. (Include your camera info in the Notes when you sign up if you are on the waiting list.)

We will meet at Birds and Beans Cafe on Lake Shore West at 7pm. It's pretty close to Mimico GO station or take the Queen car along the Queensway and walk south. We'll be walking east, stopping to explore the Park, a couple of small spits jutting out into the Lake at the mouth of Mimico Creek. It's home to loads of native plants, particularly those favoured by butterflies. There are some great views of the Toronto skyline as well! From there we'll walk over to the bridge as the sun sets. Detours along the way are possible!

Total distance will be approximately 3 km. The hike will likely be cancelled if there's rain so check your email.

NO SHOWS: Please be good to the waiting list - If you have a spot and your plans change, please remove your name right away. Anyone cancelling after the Registration Cut Off the day before will receive an automatic no show
