Itinerary:

Come explore the beautiful Rouge River Valley. This hike has a few steep climbs with one steep descent and some rolling hills. Some very nice lookout points and great scenery, and one of these points will serve as a lunch stop.

This is a SLOWPOKE hike so we will be hiking at the pace of the slowest hiker, and we'll stick together as a group. It is suitable for beginners, but please note that you must be confident that you can hike for 11.5km.

Needless to say - if you're a really fast hiker, this is NOT the event for you - sorry! Priority will be given to those who are new to the Toronto Outdoor Club (Welcome, new members!)

DRIVERS, WHEN YOU SIGN UP, PLEASE ANSWER HOW MANY PASSENGERS YOU CAN TAKE IN YOUR CAR.

There is no "meet at event" option for this hike. All hikers must meet at the carpool point and travel together.

NO SHOWS: Anyone dropping out within 24 hours of the start of the event will receive an AUTOMATIC NO SHOW - no exceptions. Please respect the people on the waiting list and if you can't attend, remove yourself BEFORE the cutoff time to give others time to adjust their lives and join in. Thanks in advance!
