Itinerary:

A spring car camping trip to take advantage of the long weekend! Mew lake is the only Algonquin park that is open all year round, so while it is not as pretty or recreationally outfitted like some of the other campsites, it is available over the long weekend.

There won't be a lack of activities to keep everyone busy for three days - if the ice has melted, we'll try canoeing, if the ground is dry, we'll go biking. In any condition there is plenty of day hikes from Mew Lake or just a short drive away. We may even get to see some wildlife out for an early spring.

Campsites have yet to be booked but I'm aiming for two campsites and a maximum of 12 people. Remember that it's still pretty cold out there, so you must have the proper gear.
