Itinerary:
This event is being arranged by member Wei Lin: Are you feeling stressed at work? Unable to relax or sleep at home? Or simply think that getting into a lotus position is way cool - then this class is for you! Come out and learn how to meditate, so that you may restore your state of optimal balance, let go of worries and gain back your peace of mind.

This class will teach you the various proper sitting postures, breathing methods, and ways to calm and tame the mind. It will also include a set of yoga stretches to help you focus and relax. The workshop will begin with meditation instructions, followed by rounds of short sitting sessions. After that, there will be a discussion on how to apply meditation methods in daily life to manage your stress and maintain body & mind well being. At the conclusion of the workshop, tea and cookies will be served and a question/answer period follows.

Important note: Meditation mats and cushions will be provided. Please wear loose fitting clothes. Note regarding fees: The meditation introductory class is FREE (although donation welcome).

There is also the suggested club donation of $1.00. Please pay directly at the event.
