Itinerary:

Winter has arrived and I'm ready to head to Harbourfront to skate off some of the holiday baking I've been eating. (If there is any left by Saturday, I'll bring cookies to share.)

The Habourfront Natrel rink is at the back of York Quay and has a view of the water. It's a lovely place to skate, though it may be a bit busy on Saturdy night. I'll have my 14 year old son with me, so feel free to bring your children. No pressure to stay for the whole 2 hours.

I'll try to hang out in the change room until 8:15, possibly later if there is a long line for rentals. I'll likely be the only person there with a clipboard. If you don't find me there, look for me on the rink in a puffy black jacket. I'll try to remember to wear my cycling vest.

Required Items to Bring:

Warm clothing, or layers.

If are planning to rent skates, a driver's license, credit card, passport, birth certificate or citizenship card is required. Note that student cards, TTC passes and health cards are not accepted for rentals.

Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

If you don't have skates, you can rent them at the rink for $8.

Sharpening is $5. And locker rentals are $1.
