PLEASE NOTE Proper hiking shoes or boots and appropriate clothing is a REQUIREMENT for this hike. There are a few hilly sections that will require boots with a good grippy soul. You can purchase yaktrax at MEC and other stores, or icers from Lee Valley Tools that will give you more grip. Running shoes, boots with heels and "urban style" boots are a safety hazard, and you may not be allowed on the hike if you are not attired properly

This is a relatively easy hike and an opportunity to take in some unusual Ontario Terrain. I don't know how the weather will be at this time of year- will there be snow? Since part of the trail is along the Caledon Trailway it will be flat and easy to traverse.

If we do get snow, this hike should still be doable, however there is a short section that is a bit hilly and icers or yaktrax might be recommended
