Toronto Island Tree Tour hike (part 1) (8/23/2012)

PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED: Once you've reviewed the event details, and decided you'd like to join us, you MUST sign up at the bottom of this page.You will then make your payment for this event at the venue, NOT in advance to the TOC.

Itinerary:
As we tour half of Toronto Island – from Centre to Ward’s Islands, we will stop and identify about 20 different trees. This will be a slow hike, as we’ll be stopping a lot!

We’ll take the 6:00 ferry to Centre Island, and catch the 8:45 ferry back from Ward’s Island. If we miss that one, the next isn’t until 9:45, so … I don’t want to miss it!

If we happen to get to Ward’s early, we can stop for a quick snack at the Island Café.

Obviously, you can’t be late for this event. The ferry will leave without you!

The event will be cancelled if a persistent rain is in the forecast.
