Itinerary:
Toronto has many wonderful hiking trails, and we will be following the route of one of the Discovery Walks that the City of Toronto has put together. Which one? Humber River, Old Mill, and Marshes! If you want, you can download the Discovery Walk brochure from the City of Toronto website, www.toronto.ca/parks/trails/discover.htm. The points of interest/route on our hike: 1) Old Mill/Old Mill Bridge 2) Toronto Carrying Place Trail 3) Humber River, Valley, and Marshes 4) Early Settlement Site. And, since we'll be burning approximately 450 calories, I feel it is only appropriate to recover those calories through eating cookies! I'll bring some freshly baked chocolate chip cookies to share. Feel free to bring some yourself, but fear not, I shall bring enough for all! This will be an all-weather hike, so please bring any rain gear necessary!

Required Items to Bring:
Proper hiking shoes Weather appropriate clothing Water
Recommended Items to Bring:
Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.
An appetite for cookies!

How to Get There:
Event Directions:Old Mills subway station is located on the western side of the Bloor/Danforth subway line.
