Itinerary:

1.5 Hour Fitness Walk/Jog/Run in High Park

This event is a brisk, fitness walk, jog or run...it's up to you on paved HILLY paths/pedestrian only roads through the park. This event is rated as a very difficult D4 and our route will be on 3 different hills. We’ll walk, or jog, or run for approx. 1.5 hours providing a good, fast cardio workout with a focus on some interval techniques - the objective being to pace and push yourself. We'll be challenging our legs and lungs to walk and/or run forward, side ways and backwards!.

As this event will be on 3 distinct "hill circuits" in the park, participants will be going at a pace that is suitable to their level of fitness and speed.

This event is rated as a very challenging D4 and is therefore not recommended for new/inexperienced members to TOC. Participants sighing up will be screened for suitability and appropriate fitness experience. You may of course email me with details of your experience and/or questions.

There will of course be many opportunities to stop, rest, drink and re-join the group as we're in a specified area/route with constant visibility to everyone else.

You are strongly advised to have some high caloric food and drink 1 hour prior to this event.

We are starting and ending at the same location- park entrance at High Park Ave. and Bloor St.

Note that this event will be rescheduled/canceled if there is a high chance of wet rainy conditions as we are to avoid slippage.
