UP + DOWN THE HUMBER

This is a decent walk for those that want a longer weeknight hike.
THERE ARE NO DROP OUTS

ROUTE: We'll meet at OLD MILL STATION at the turnstiles. Our route will go north up to Lambton Park on the west side of the Humber. We'll then go along Dundas until we pick up the Humber trail and follow it south all the way to the lake, going west as far as Humber Bay Park. From there we'll turn around, and head back to east to the Kingsway and Riverside Dr, where we'll go north and return to Old Mill station.

We'll be walking an average pace of 5.0 - 5.5 km per hour. Please don't sign up if you want to go faster: anyone getting too far ahead will be asked to slow down or be removed from the event.

NO SHOWS: To be fair to the waiting list if you cancel within 24 hours of the event you will receive an automatic no show. No exceptions!

WAITING LIST: I give priority on the waiting list to people who consistently show up when they sign up. This is to help make the waiting list fair to everyone.

Required Items to Bring:

Good footwear (running shoes may not have sufficient support, we will be mostly on paved surfaces. If it has rained recently the trail may be muddy.)

Water 2L and snacks

Flashlight or headlight

Notes:

This hike may be cancelled if there's a severe thunderstorm. Please check your email if in doubt.

Please arrive on time as I will turn my cell phone off once we leave the station. If you are going to be late then it is up to you if you want to try to catch up to us on the route instead of receiving a No Show. Send me a brief text letting me know. Please do not leave me voicemail as I don't check it during an event.
