Itinerary:
Let's go for reasonably easy stroll through Ken Whillans Resource Management Area and enjoy the short trails around the fishing ponds. This is a pretty little area within ~ 20 minutes drive from Bovaird and Main area of Brampton. There are ~3 km of looped trails. Thus, to make our trip more worthwhile we will then hike on the neighbouring Bruce Trail/Caledon Trailway for about 2.5 km one way and then return. We'll aim to keep the hike to <2 hrs.

There is an admission fee of $5 to this Management Area.

We will meet at Starbucks at Chapters on SE corner of Bovaird and Highway 10/Main Street and then carpool to the start of the event. NOTE, we're meeting for carpool at 6:15 PM. If some folks want to drive directly to the event, you need to be there by 6:30 PM.

Non-Bramptonions note: you're welcome to join us but there won't be a carpool from Toronto - you'll have to get out to Brampton's carpool location under your own steam...

The hike will go rain or shine. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear for conditions and the weather.

If there is enough interest, we can stop off Starbucks on the way home for a quick refreshment.

Event coordinator may bring a mediuim size dog to this hike.
