Rouge Hill to Oshawa and back - Waterfront trail

Length: About 70 km

Route:
I did this section of Waterfront trail a couple weeks ago and had lot of fun. Most of this trip will be on paved cycling path, lots of it along the lake, and many interesting sites along the way.

There is a 2km section on heavy traffic but the road has gravel shoulders and I recommend riding on the shoulders.

The plan is that we meet at Rouge hill Go station Saturday morning, the train will be there at 9:42am assuming you are coming from west of Rouge hill. We should arrive by the same train, so look for me when you get off(guy with a red bike and two panniers).

please let me know if you are coming from east or coming by car, we may need to wait for you.

Notes:
You must wear helmet the whole time while cycling, and you must bring spare tube for your own bike. Please bring your lunch as well, we will not be stopping at restaurant for lunch.
