1.5 Hour Fitness Walk in High Park

This event is a very brisk, fitness walk on a varied walking route(paved roads, hilly trails and lots of stairs) through the park. This particular event is rated as a very difficult D4 and follows a very hilly route. We’ll walk for approx. 1.5 hours providing a good, fast cardio workout with a focus on hilly ups and downs!. We expect to be walking at a pace of about 5.5-6.2 km for the entire event for a 6-7km walk. We are starting and ending at the same location(park entrance at High Park Ave. and Bloor St.)

This event is rated as a very challenging D4 and is therefore not recommended for new/inexperienced members to TOC. Participants sighing up will be screened for suitability and appropriate fitness experience. You may of course email me with details of your experience and/or questions.

There will be about 10 very short(1 minute) break for water and to catch your breath!

You are strongly advised to have some high caloric food and drink 1 hour prior to this event.

We are aiming to have a social coffee/pub gathering 5 minutes away in Bloor West Village to do an informal “meet and greet” get to know about the TOC and your fellow event participants. The likely venue will be the Yellow Griffin Pub.
