Itinerary:

Running...

The plan is to run for half an hour at a comfortable pace. I'm new to this sport, so I'll be jogging at a relaxed pace. Feel free to go faster if you like, or walk a lap here and there as needed.

There is a track around the soccer field at Riverdale park. Until I build up enough stamina to handle significant distances, and uneven terrain, I would like to stick to a track so I can monitor my progress and concentrate on form.

We will meet at 6:50pm near the South East corner of the track and start running at 7pm for half an hour till 7:30pm (afterwards the sun sets.) If you want to run longer, you could come earlier (just remember to say hello at 7pm when we start running.)

Also, if you want to give a voluntary donation to the TOC, the suggested amount for town events is $1 (after you have paid $20 in a year in donations you should stop paying.) Again this is completely voluntary and you don't have to pay every time you go to an event (the volunteer coordinators give the donations to the club treasurer to handle costs such as the website.)

Use our Event Checklists to make sure you have everything you need.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:As you come down Broadview Ave from the Danforth Broadview Subway Station look to the setting sun in the west. You will see a big park. Pass the tennis courts and keep looking down into the valley. You will see a soccer field with goal posts and a track running around it. There might be an upside down bicycle with a bag and jacket next to the South East corner of the track. This is where we will meet before the run.
