Itinerary:

Like to trail run? Why not start off the race season with the Pick Your Poison race?

Distance are 12.5k and 25k. There is also a 50k race (feel free to ask Jenn M for training tips for this distance!) but due to the length of time the race may take the TOC event will only be open to the 12.5k and 25k distance racers. Advance warning - some of us (Jenn M cough cough) are not fast runners!

The race is at Horseshoe Highlands, north of Barrie. All racers will carpool together (regardless of distance being raced) and those racers who finish ahead of others can form the TOC cheering squad!

If there is interest, we will stop for refreshments on the way home or in the city.

YOU must sign up for the race yourself. The TOC will not do it for you. Go to http://pickyourpoison.ca/ for more info on the race and to register.

The TTC subway does not start running until 0600 on Saturdays so you may need to plan an alternate mode of transportation to get to the listed event carpool location on time. Check out the new TTC Trip Planner to figure out the best way to meet up on time with your coordinator. You can specify the time at which you need to ARRIVE at your destination, and it is recommended that you put in a time at least 15 minutes before the scheduled TOC event departure time.
