Itinerary:

This is an event I've had requests to run for a while.

What we are going to do, is meet at Victoria Station and head over to Warden Woods to join the Toronto Orienteering Club for their Wednesday night casual event.

What is orienteering?

Competitive orienteering is where individuals race in a cross country format where participants use a map and a compass to travel from one specific location to another.

However, since this isn't a competition, we'll just walk from location to location.

If this is you're first time orienteering, there will be instructors on hand to show you the basics.

When we get to the event, we can work as a group, or split off into smaller groups and we'll participate in the event from 6:15-7:30 PM.

Check out the event here: http://www.toronto-orienteering.com/wednesday.html

These events are free to go to, however as this is a Toronto Outdoors Club event, please meet and check into with me at the starting location.

We meet back at the orienteering tent at 7:30 PM and then head back as a group to Victoria Park Station.
