Itinerary:
This trip is recommended for people who have never done backcountry camping but capable of carrying a pack (around 30lbs) for at least 5km. Camping in the winter doesn't have to be a major expedition. You don’t have to be in top shape to enjoy the winter fun. So, now is the chance for regular outdoor lovers to get a taste of winter camping. We are going to hike (ideally in snowshoes) about 5km into Karwatha highlands near Petroglyphs provincial park and make our camp near High Falls area. The idea of this trip is experience building but not physically demanding. So everyone can have the chance get a taste of winter camping in a backcountry setting.
