Itinerary:

Kevin Callan, well known Canadian author and paddler, will be presenting on "Ontario's Most Scenic Canoe Routes." Come and see pictures, film and stories on places such as Algonquin, Killarney., Temagami, Algoma, Lake Superior, Wabakimi, Quetico, and much, much more. Kevin's presenations are just as entertaining as it is informative. You definitely don't want to miss this one!

Come a half hour early and have something to eat and drink at Chalkers! It's a great way to spend some time with your TOC friends!

Bio

Kevin Callan is the author of thirteen books, including the best selling The Happy Camper, the incredibly popular series of paddling guides, and Wilderness Pleasures: A Practical Guide to Camping Bliss. On a regular basis he presents across North America and has been a key speaker at all the major canoe events for over 20 years. Callan is also a frequent quest on radio and television, and has a regular camping column in CBC Radio. He's also a regular guest on Canada AM and Breakfast TV. and field editor for Explore Magazine. He has a column in CanoeRoots Magazine and is a winner of a number of National Magazine Awards and film awards. For the last 21 years he has taught part-time in Environmental Issues and Sciences at Sir Sandford Fleming College and lives in Peterborough, the birthplace of the modern day canoe.

How to Get There:
Event Directions:By TTC: Go to Glencairn Subway Station, exit the south entrance (Viewmount) and walk west to Marlee. Turn left (south) and walk about two blocks. Chalkers is on the left side (corner of Marlee and Stayner).

Driving: Marlee Avenue runs parallel to Allen Road, Chalkers is between Eglinton and Lawrence.
